Material Cheat Sheet

Pre-flight checks

  • Ensure to run the Auto Bed Leveling wizard with the bed temperature set according to the material you’ll be printing. Locate the temperature in the matrix below.
  • Occasionally, run the Assisted Platform Calibration wizard to ensure the bed plate is physically level.

  1. Always dry your material per the time and temperature specified in the matrix. Wet material can cause weak layer bonding, holes in your prints, and bad print aesthetics.

  2. Do not touch the outside of the printer when fully heated except for handles. Do not touch anything inside the printer while printing.

  3. Use the provided work gloves and eye protection to avoid burns or injuries when working with the printer.

  4. Don’t open the chamber immediately after a print and attempt to remove the part.

Instead, let the carbon plate naturally cool down to room temperature, and the prints will pop off on their own.

Attempting to force a print off the carbon plate when hot can damage your print, damage the print surface, and throw out the bed calibration.
